There was an art journaling workshop at the Horizon Academy last weekend. I was with a group of young teens and the theme of the page was thankfulness. The workshop was only an hour long so we had to speed through it but I think the students came up with some really creative work in that time.
We used markers, paint pens, ink sprays and puff paint on these pages.
Part of the page was masked off in the beginning in order to leave space for writing what we're each thankful for.
They had the option of writing things in a way that no one else would be able to read what's written if they wished to keep it private.
Here are some of the students showing off their work, you'll notice a few of them hiding in the back as well, they were camera shy.
I wasn't able to catch a picture of everyone's work because they ran off pretty quickly once class was over but you can check out what I did manage to capture in the album on my Facebook page.
Arts & Crafts
I love creating stuff. I also get bored easily. So, on this blog you'll find my experiments with various mediums and techniques along with some of my students' creations from classes that I teach.
