There's a girl at work who makes and brings lots off cookies- and she's kind enough to share the recipes. This is another recipe from Joanne Fluke's Lake Eden Cookbook.
Doll Face Cookies
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F., rack in the middle position. (THIS IS NOT AN OMISSION – THESE COOKIES HAVE NO EGGS)
½ cup melted butter (1 stick, 4 ounces, ¼ pound)
1 cup brown sugar, tightly packed
½ cup molasses
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon juice
2 and ½ cups flour (no need to sift – pack it down in the cup when you measure it)
½ cup milk 1 cup (approximately)
golden raisins, regular raisins, or currants to decorate
I love to make food and to eat. I've been baking since before I was a teenager and exploring more with cooking for the past decade. This section of the site is dedicated to my experiments in the kitchen.
